Visiting

Earth revisited by human AI drones after hundreds of millenniums since human race left a dieing earth to it's destiny. Since then, human lived in different space colonies in nearby galaxies, searching and borrowing resources (water) from the planets they have visited. The descendants of the exiled race now found out that the home they left to die have survived and now rich again in life. It's very different and now home to new forms and kinds of lifeforms. The AI drones sent the message to the colonies about the good news. The exiled children have decided "our journey ends, we're going back home".

Was inspired by a show I watched long ago at Discovery channel, which I forgot the title.
